Astrobasic has a 'getbody' command, which needs a julian day, a planetnumber and an additional file.
But can't find it here, there used to be a list with additional planets / bodies and you have to download a .se1 file for each.

I asked around and this planet is not supported by the swiss ephemeris.

Planetdance for windows / Re: Unable to set orb in Horoscope-List
« on: February 20, 2021, 10:56:04 PM »
I have trouble understanding exactly what you mean.
If i set orb to 1 in horoscope list, it works here.
Maybe you didn't save a preset or something.
See pic, orb is 1 and all in/out orb events are 1 degree from the exact aspect.

Jeremy another thing you could do for us is to also use pics from planetdance on social media, website etc.

- Ayanamsha was ignored by the List functions.
+ Added option for heliocentric to Time - Extended Ephemeris.

Hi Mukul,

I will add options for helio and ayanamsha to time list and some other functions.

You could try to leave out things but it's tricky, a sign is %i in the first part of strset() and has a corresponding value in the list of arguments, mostly something like 'findr1 / 30'.

9
what you could do is rename horoscope list.ab to something else so it won't be ovewritten when you update, then edit it using application edit.
Look at line 346 and on

Code: [Select]
        strset(s, "%c %s %s   %p %s%t%1a %i", typestr[type], datestr, timestr, findp1, retronames[findtype], findr1, findr1 / 30);

Change these to

Code: [Select]
        strset(s, "%c %s %s,   %p, %s%t%1a, %i", typestr[type], datestr, timestr, findp1, retronames[findtype], findr1, findr1 / 30);

Note the extra komma's in the first part of strset(). You can run he script with F9.
It's a lot of work though.

I also use Mint XFCE as my favorite Linux distro. Planetdance runs fine, only a few graphical glitches.

You know that if you select 'text only' and do a right mouse click you can export the text to the clipboard ?

Will think about this but my first thought is that it's too complicated, i would have to write a whole other way of output providing the comma's, the lists scripts are complicated enough as it is, they can't have much more.

Code: [Select]

Astrobasic / Re: new defined planet in horoscope

On second thought i'm not gonna do that text to jpg convert, it would require quite some effort and the setbitmap feature is mostly sufficient.

the sym* files are the same principle as setbitmap. I will look into that jpg to text later today.

Are you getting along?

I am thinking about a way to convert a jpg to asci text, so you could just distribute it in ab code, could be done i think.

There is picture(), used in Cartography. But you'd have to distribute that jpg along with the script.
